AVA Health Center was built to serve the basic healthcare needs of a rural community of about 15 villages near Ibadan in the Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State Nigeria. Services are completely free and it is being operated as a privately funded charity with donations and contributions from friends and other kind hearted donors.
AVA Community Health Care Center is a health center named after Deaconess Abiola Victoria Ayoka Kuye, of the Apatere Baptist Church, a lover of God and God’s children. The center provides free healthcare service to a rural community of about 15 villages in Apatere, Ibadan.
AVA HEALTH COMPASSIONATE FOUNDATION was officially granted Certificate to operate as a public charity in Nigeria by the Corporate Affairs Commission on January 23rd 2017. The Board of the Foundation is made up of professionals and headed by a professor of medicine. The Board saw to the setting up of the hospital, recruitment of staff and managing the day to day operation of the Center.
After the due inspection of the facility, equipment and staff, the Center was officially licensed as a Community Health Delivery Hospital in September of 2017 by the Oyo State Government of Nigeria.
AVA HEALTH COMPASSIONATE FOUNDATION became registered in the United States on September 25, 2017 when the US Internal Revenue Service granted the foundation a 501 (C) (3) Exemption Certificate as a public charity authorized to collect money and material donations from the public and issue tax deductible contribution statements for their donations.
